Problem with fit in range with RooBernstein

Hello, I have problem fitting in sidebands with RooBernstein. I don’t have the problem with other pdf (e.g. exponential).

What I do it:

  • generate in the full range
  • fit in the full range and plot: ok
  • plot in the sidebands: ok
  • fit and plot in the sidebands: bad result

I attach a script to reproduce the problemproblem_berntein.py (1.4 KB)

seems this bug is known since 2014: https://sft.its.cern.ch/jira/browse/ROOT-6664
