How to install root on windows 10?

Hello! I know this question has been asked before, but I couldn’t find any proper answer to this question. How to install root on windows 10, is there a guide or a video that explains every step?

This worked for me recently, using the precompiled version (get the win32.vc16.exe file):

Ì think that page can still be improved a bit. In particular, for example, Visual Studio is huge and has a lot of components, and it’s not clear which one/s is/are really needed for ROOT (downloading everything just in case is not so nice, as it’s many, many GB). To be on the safe side, install ROOT on a simple path with no spaces, e.g. c:\root62400

Thanks for your prompt reply, I installed it. Now can I uninstall visual studio 2019 after installing root or is it necessary for root to function properly?
