Hi,

When trying to use the Fit Panel GUI on a 1D histogram plot, I get the following message:

Specifically, this message seems to show up when I try to use the scroll bar to adjust the window range of x values. Normally, when adjusting the scroll bar, one can see the window size of x range shows up, but that does not seem to be the case here.

What are you doing exactly in the first pane ? I just tried on Monterey. It seems fine. We made recent fixes in that area.

Hi,

I’m trying to do a Gaussian fit on one of the peaks in my 1D spectrum. Everything else in the fit panel seems to work (i.e. I can fit the peak by manually enter the left and right range of x). The warnings show up when I try to use the horizontal scroll bar.

You mean the range slider as shown in the following picture ?

It works for me. I guess that’s fixed in the most recent root version (master).
