TAxis TPad loarithmic scale to non 10 base possible?

Hello Root Team,

is there a possibility to set logarithmic scale in
void TPad::SetLogx(Int_t value)
with base operand like 2 so that the axis ticks and labels are based on 2 on not on 10?.

If not I would like this to be thought of a new feature request :bulb:
