Specific axis ticks

Hello,
I have a histogram with custom binning (binned according to detector resolution), plotted on logx scale and then zoomed around specific range. The tick marks that result are not ideal - I get one tick mark in the entire span of the axis presented.

Can I add manually tick marks at specific locations (but not at bin boundaries/centers)?

Hi,
I’ve done this already - doesn’t help - still just one labelled tick on the whole axis after zooming.
I would like to to specify where to put ticks myself.

After zooming you may how many decades to you see ?

I would say that when you are at this zoom level the best is to go back to linear scale.
