Special characters in TLatex

Hi all!

I would like to use something like latex command \v{}, which produces an accent similar to #check in TLatex, but not quite so. Is there something I could correct in canvas.ps file or the command should be implemented?

I am using 4.00/07 on fc2.

I do not see the difference between the Latex symbol \v and the TLatex one #check. Seems to me they are the same.
