Saving a histogram without the canvas

hi rooters,
I would like to save my 2D- histogram into an image (say a*tiff ir jpeg file)

  1. I want to suppress the axes
  2. I do not want to the whole canvas plus histogram as the image. The final picture consists only the histogram.

Is there a way to do this in ROOT?

just set:
the tick size to 0
the label size to 0
the titles size to 0 or set the titles a " "
do no plot the stats …

what else ? … I think that’s all you should have only the histo after all that
