The RootTalk forum has moved to a new version of the phpBB software. The contents of the phpBB2 version has been migrated to this new version. Over the coming days some further minor refinements will be made, hopefully without any noticeable disruption.

Hi,

On phpBB2, you could tell which forums have new messages because the icon was yellow instead of white. This no longer seems to be the case. Can this be “fixed”?

the icon is now not yellow but light pink, visible when logged in.

This light pink is not very visible… May be we need time to be used too :slight_smile:

I am looking into other icons for forum activity. As I said still some fine tuning to do and getting used to the new features.

Hi,

One question about new setup: In the old setup, there was a link to read the next/previous message in the forum (so you didn’t have to go back to the index). Can that be setup again?

It seems something that is in general missing from phpbb3. I did not find a mod that puts this back. I’ve places a question on the phpbb forum and hope for some feedback.
