ROOT Workshop: postponed to 2021

Dear ROOT users, developers, and friends:

Due to the conavirus situation, the workshop has been postpone to 2021.

The ROOT team is happy to announce the 2020 ROOT Workshop, where we want
to shape the future of ROOT with you. We will discuss ROOT’s latest
developments, how you are using ROOT, and how you would like ROOT to
evolve.

The Workshop will take place at Fermilab near Chicago, Illinois in the US, June 8-11;

Our way of saying “thank you for your participation, for your continued
feedback and support” is to make sure that you have a great time in an
easy to reach location!

The topics will cover:
• ROOT roadmap
• PyROOT && cppyy
• RDataFrame extensions
• RNTuple performance and practical use
• New web-based GUI
• Reducing disk use by using lossy compression.
• Concurrency and ROOT
• Time series in ROOT
• Machine learning in and with ROOT
• Math tools and techniques
• User feedback
