Root Fit: How to know if our Fit is good or bad

Hello,

I’m using a fit function made by other user (Bukin function).
The fit process is using a Covariance matrix, TMinuitMinimizer, and I belivie other thinks, but I don’t know the meaning of any output result, for example:
STATUS = OK or CONVERGED
The strategy used and FCN.
Which parameter(s) I need to follow to see if my fit is good or not?

Have you already taken a look at the RooFit manual ? RooFit - ROOT
Try to see if you get a better understanding of your problem over there. If you have any more specific questions, I believe @moneta or @jonas may be able to help you.
