I have installed root version 6.24.06 inside Ubuntu, but now I need root version 5.34 for muography simulation on my Geant4. Can I install root 5.34 without removing root 6.24.06? Or is there any other suggestion for my case?

Yes, you can, but 5.34 is super old and not supported anymore why do you need such old version of ROOT ?
