RooSimultaneous with different observables

Hi,

I’ve been performing simultaenous fits with the class RooSimultaneous to fit similar data from several detectors of an experiment. But one constraint was always that this data had to have the same observable and even the same observable range (at least when using the model to derive a limit via RooStats).

Is it possible to perform a simultaneous fit and limit derivation (hypothesis test with RooStats::FrequentistCalculator) for different datasets using different observables or observable ranges?

I have two data samples S1 and S2, in what I want to fit a gaussian to a signal mass peak and a polynomial to the background, this for each sample.
