Recombination of electrons and positive ions in ultra-low electric field

Excuse me,I am a beginner. When I used Garfield+ + simulation, the electric field in the medium was less than 50V/cm, the electrons and positive ions produced by the particle ionized gas did not seem to recombine, and the drift line of electrons was drawn, and a large number of electrons could be seen drifting to the electrode.I wonder how can I see that electrons don’t drift to the electrode when the electric field is very low.Thinks a lot.

I think @hschindl can help.
