Quick question on createProfile()

Hello,

When someone draws the Profile Likelihood taken from the createProflile(), the result corresponds to -lnΛ or -2*lnΛ ?

From the description (root.cern.ch/root/html/RooProfileLL.html) it sounds like it returns the -lnΛ, and the error lines should be drawn on 0.5 and 2 for 1 and 2 sigma respectively.

Hi,

The RooProfileLL class , which is obtained using the createProfile() method, computes -lnΛ = -lnL(mu) - lnL_Min.
