Old web pages

Is there any “hidden” place where I could access the “old” web pages?
I think I terribly miss many …
How can I get them back?

For example, I once collected a “comprehensive” set of documents related to a frequently asked question:

Aux;1 aux;2 aux3;

Search for “cycle” and/or “namecycle”, for example in: In a Nutshell: Input and Output . ROOT User’s Guide: Input/Output : Retrieving Objects from Disk , Subdirectories and Navigation . Just for reference: some additional notes about GetObject, Get, FindObjectAny, FindKeyAny, ReadObj, ReadObjAny .

but as of today, almost none of these links works (and this question is asked again and again … I stopped answering it as I am no longer able to give a “comprehensive” answer).

Well, of course, I would like to get the “old” ROOT 5 Primer in “clickable” HTML version, too.

I just checked that with the pdf 5 primer I put online at your request, you can click the same way as the ROOT 6 version (pdf).
