Obtain TStyle settings from TCanvas

Hello everyone,

I have some TCanvas objects stored in .root files. I want to make new plots using the same style settings such as “PaperSize”, “TitleOffset” etc set using gstyle. I don’t have access to my old macro where these TStyle settings were called.

Can I get these settings from the TCanvas object?

I could only find “UseCurrentStyle” or “ForceCurrentStyle” to change the style settings and not a way to extract old settings for use in future plots.

Welcome to the ROOT forum,

You can Draw the canvas and save it as a .C file and you will see which graphics settings were use.
