Normalization of Histograms with RooFit

Hi all,

I am trying to fit template histograms for signal and background to data.
The problem is, that I do not want RooFit to normalize the histograms used, as they are already normalized.
I am using the RooFit version included in ROOT 5.34.
Could you please advice me how I can get RooFit to basically just do the fitting ?

Edit: After some further research I get the impression that the fitparameters are scaled with a factor corresponding to range of histogram/number of bins.
How do I prevent this scaling/normalizing ?
