Italic in part of text

Hello!

I would like to write text to my axis title and my legend where a have only one charqacter italic! More specific I want to write:

where the “s” in

is italic. Is this possible?

This is a request we already had recently. We need to implement it. But it is in fact mostly there. Use the #font operator as explained here:
root.cern.ch/root/html/TLatex.html

Yes, it works. The trick is to do things in the right order!
