Installing g77 compiler with gcc 4.6.3 version

Hello,

i would like to ask do you maybe know how to install g77 compiler on Ubuntu 12.04? The problem is that i have gcc 4.6.3 version (where g77 is not included). The last version where g77 was included was gcc 3.6 (i think). So when i try to install g77 i get dependencies problem…

I really need g77, i can’t change it with gfotran. And i wouldn’t like to change gcc 4.6.3 to the older version. I read that maybe i could install two gcc versions, but is there maybe some other way? Maybe i should install it from the source but would that interfere with the gcc version i have?

I am working with MC@NLO generator, that what i need it for…

Thanks

Sorry for the late answer.
