How to get 1 as 10^{0} in y-axis in root?

Hello all,

I am using ROOT 5.34/32. In the attached plot, I am getting the y-axis label as shown by black color. But I need 1 as 10^{0} and 10 as 10^{1}, shown by red color. Could you please suggest how to get it? TGaxis::SetMaxDigits(6) does not work.

10^{0} and 10{1} are explicitly avoided because we do not want this in most cases.
There is a possibility to change labels with https://root.cern/doc/master/classTAxis.html#afc19787e727c9e3c85be72eba03338da
but not with 5.34
