Histogram 2D. Draw box option, with color

Hello,

When a 2D histogram is drawn with option COLZ, each bin is filled with different colors (which represent the bin content) and the corresponding palette is also shown.

But if BOX option is used, the color of the box line is the same for all. Is there a way to change the box line color, so it can represent the bin content (as the bin area color does for COL option)?

@couet I think (in ROOT 6.16 and older) there is a suitable option supported for 3D histograms only.

You want to combine the box and col option in one single option. There is no such option (yet) for 2D histograms.
