Fonts in root/5.34

Hello,

I have missing labels when using Greek characters (e.g. \eta) in root/5.34.09 or root/5.34.13. I checked that there is no problem when using root/5.32.00 and using the same machine (SLC6 OS) and the same macro.
I have Unix.*.Root.UseTTFonts: true in etc/system.rootrc. and I include TLatex class.
Could you, please, tell me how to fix this?

Thanks a lot in advance.
Best regards,
Helena Santos

Fixed. One should use # and not \ in front of the Greek character (as clearly stated in root.cern.ch/root/html/TLatex.html).

@Helena: root.cern.ch/root/html/TMathText.html

When you use \ instead of #, TLatex automatically switches to TMathText.

Hi Couet,

I solved my problem replacing // by #. Apparently this switch to TMathText (when using \ instead of #) is not happening in root/5.34.

Best regards,
Helena
