Ellipse on TH2D

Dear all,

I would like to draw an ellipse on TH2 taking for each 1/2 axis 50% quantile of the corrresponding axis. Is there any way to do that?

yes i did but that gave me a big ellipse (cause i fixed apriori the choice of (1/2)-axis and not computed from the TH2D).

My histogram is for a Point Spread Function and i am trying to compute the median of x and y-axis that i can use to draw the ellipse.

Ps: TEllipse force me to fix the (1/2)-axis a priori.
