Hello, I would like to add a line on top of a 2D histogram. It works if I do: hRadius->Draw(""); TLine *l1 = new TLine(-200,0,200,200); l1->SetLineWidth(10); l1->Draw(); but the line does not show up if I use: hRadius->Draw(“CONT4Z”); What can I do to plot a line on top of 2D histo plotted …

What can I do to plot a line on top of 2D histo plotted with CONT4Z option?

TMarker position incorrect for TH2F "cont4z" drawing? ROOT

CONT4 is the SURF3 option seen from top. It has its own coordinate system. Therefore the coordinates you see on the axis are not those used to draw the contours. You need to put a transparent pad on top of the CONT4 drawing (with the right coordinates) in order to draw the marker at the right place.

Contour plot ROOT

Yes, CONT4 has its own coordinate system. It is in fact a SURF3 seen from top.
