I want to extract spectrum histogram from a GATE root file. I use TBrowser t command in root platform; when I rebin the showing histogram by right click on it and choose rebin option; Rebining is occurred but with downsampling.
How can I rebin the histogram without downsampling?
I am not sure what do you mean exactly. An histogram can be rebinned merging the original bins in bigger ones.
One cannot rebin in smaller ones since the information on the exact location of each entry is lost after having filled an histogram.
