Does anyone know how to set up the root configuration to simulate images similar to real coronary angiography?

How to use low doses to make our simulated images visible. And how to enhance the realism of our simulated images to better match real coronary angiograms.I have used GATE to simulate images similar to coronary angiography, but it requires a high number of particle doses. Additionally, the simulated image data files show the spine and ribs with clarity, yet their appearance differs significantly from real coronary angiograms. In my simulations, the spine and ribs are clearly visible, but the overall style does not resemble that of a real coronary angiogram.

Welcome to the ROOT forum and thanks for your question.
Can you be more precise ? what are "your simulated images " ? 2 D histograms ?

Our phantom was simulated in GATE, resulting in 2D images stored as DAT files.

May that’s more a GEANT 4 question ? What is a DAT file, is it ASCiII ?

The file uses the .dat file extension

That’s likely a GEANT4 problem.
