I would need to create a Marker of circular shape but with dashed LineStyle. Is this somehow possible?

No. Sorry it is not. A new marker have to be implemented . The line style does not apply on markers.
Maybe this could be considered in one of the future releases?
The Marker is on of the basic primitives and has only the marker attributes. We have a quite large list of possible marker.. One single shape can be differentiated by the color and the size. What you are asking for would be a new marker style.
