Dear all,
i am trying to install ROOT v. 6.06.00 on Ubuntu 15.10, but after running the make install I get:

IncrementalExecutor::executeFunction: symbol ‘_ZN5cling10printValueEPPKv’ unresolved while linking [cling interface function]!
You are probably missing the definition of cling::printValue(void const**)
Maybe you need to load the corresponding shared library?
(TFile *) Error in ValuePrinter: missing output string.

My gcc version is 5.2.1.

I installed gcc-5.1.0 and used the --with-cc and --with-cxx in configuring ROOT. The make runs ok, but when I run the make install I still get

Dear all,
I had forgotten, in the ./configure, to add --enable-cxx11.
Now it works with gcc5.2.1.

I tried the solution to add --enable-cxx11.

All I did was:

To build ROOT type:

After this enter make -j4 and the ROOT is installed, but shows the same error which is mentioned earlier in this thread.
