Hello Experts,
can anyone please clear my doubt that i have a computer that has 72 number of processing units. in that machine i have installed ROOT by just downloading binary distribution and after unpacking and setting environment in .bashrc file.
so now my question is will it effect my simulation if i want to do for more number of events ?
please clarify my doubt. it will be very helpful

You can definitely benefit from number of cores with better multithreading and multiprocessing, but of course it depends on your final task/goal. For an inspiration, please checkout ROOT multicore tutorials: ROOT: Multicore tutorials
