Which is the latest gcc version that CINT version 5.18.00 can support on Ubuntu?

I see that CINT version 5.18.00 is supported with gcc-4.8.5 on Ubuntu 24.04. I would like to know which is the latest gcc version that CINT 5.18.00 can support on Ubuntu?

Hi, I’m no @pcanal or @Wile_E_Coyote, but I remember NixOS supports ROOT 5 with CINT compiled by the newest gcc with relatively few patches.

Maybe this could also be an inspiration for your efforts?
