What's meaning of BinError

Hi, rooters,
histogram can be conducted by h->GetBinError()
How to calculate the binError in statistic?
Is the error bar calculated by binwidth/sqrt(12)? or 1/2*binwidth?
I want to know the physical meaning of the bin error.

By default, histograms use bin errors with Normal (Wald) approximation: errorUp=errorLow=sqrt(bin_contents) .
