What is the time scale with which the electric field varies in your application? And what method did you have in mind for computing the electric field (finite-element field map, analytic expressions, …)?
There is no “out-of-the box” function for using a time-dependent electric field, but what you could do, for instance, is set a time interval for the avalanche simulation, and after each interval update the electric field.
