User's guide recommendation (chap 3 - histograms)

in “Normalizing Histograms” (p. 25), I recommend to mention the “width” option of TH1::Integral(), which will normalize the histogram to a p.d.f.-like.

I just spent more than an hour trying to figure out how to do that :blush:

Hi Moshe,

I added the required information in the chapter “Miscellaneous Operations” where the TH1::Integral method is explained (on page 39). It will be available for the next edition of the User’s Guide.

Also, I moved your post to the ROOT Documentation section of the Root Forum.
