Use PAW shared memory in ROOT?

Dear you,

I have a data acquisition program, this program (included the ‘cfortran.h’) produced a shared memory with the HBOOK function ’ HLIMAP (NWORDS,CHNAME)’ . Is there a way to use this shared memory in ROOT?
I know there is a similar function in ROOT with class ‘TMapFile’, but do not want to rewrite the data acquisition program, I just want to use the shared memory created with ‘HLIMAP’ in ROOT.

Any reply is appreciated!

Han

Hi,

no there is now way to share HLIMAP shared memory in ROOT. We only have TMapFile.

Cheers, Fons.

Thank you very much Fons!
I will rewrite the data acquisition program, even it will be a hard work.
