I am encountering an issue with AvalancheMC when simulating negative ion drift in SF6 at high pressure (10 atm / 7600 Torr).
The model is just two parallel plates, the mobility is loaded by external file with only one row
0 0.048
I observe that the transverse diffusion (\sigma) matches the theoretical prediction at 1 atm, but drops to nearly zero (numerical noise level) at 10 atm, despite the fact that the spatial diffusion width should remain roughly constant according to the Einstein relation. I have checked the source and found that the pressure is not considered when using Einstein relation.
What would suppress the diffusion? Or is somewhere would recall the pressure which would be related to diffusion?
