This is with root 5.26 on a winxp system.
When the mouse hovers on a gui entry with a tooltip and the tooltip is displayed, if another windows application is switched to (via alt-tab), then the tooltip stays on the screen display, overlaying the application’s screen. To resolve this, I must switch back to the root application, move the mouse to the same entry, and the out of that entry.
This can be reproduced with the guitest tutorial. I hovered on ‘Open Editor’ button to bring up the tooltip, then alt-tab switched to a windows explorer window. Attached is a screen image of the root application with the tooltip, and then the windows explorer with the tooltip.
