Hello experts,
I’ve attached the tree structure of a representative regression tree. Why are some of the final leaf nodes blue while others are white?
The blue ones are marked with nType=“1” in the TMVARegression_BDT.weights.xml file, while the white ones are marked with nType="-99" (all intermediate nodes are 0).
Also of note, when using BDTG, they are all white.
Is there some difference between these final nodes?
