It is often very convenient to use the names of parameters instead of their indexes.
Why doesn’t TF1 have a method FixParameter(const char* name, Double_t parvalue) but only TF1::FixParameter(Int_t ipar, Double_t value)? The same question for TF1::SetParLimits…
