TApplication, TGApplication or TRint?

:smiley: Could somebody explain, in a ROOT GUI application, when one has to use

  • TApplication [as in user manual p365]
  • TRint [it works also, I have tried!]
  • TGApplication [what is the difference with TApplication?]
