Support for XPath search on XML trees in root?

given the support of XML trees and XML documents in root I was wondering whether there is also some support for the use of XPath expressions or a similar language to search the XML trees / XML documents within the root framework? Somehow I did not find it.

If the functionality is there maybe someone could point me to a simple example?

If it is not there, are there plans to include something like this in a future version of root?

Hi,

There is indeed no XPATH library included in ROOT. At the moment we are not anticipating to add one.
