Is it possible to superimpose two TH2 (scatterplot) histograms on the same plot? If I try using the “same” flag, I am having all sorts of strange behaviour - the dots from the first histogram are appearing twice.

The option “same” should work.
Could you send a 10 lines script reproducing your problem?
Please indicate your version of Root.
