I am trying to extract the Minuit2 source code to build it as a standalone library, entirely outside of the rest of the ROOT source code.
Unfortunately, neither the README.md nor the DEVELOP.md files give workable instructions.
I either get that the “ROOTConfig-version.cmake” or the “version_info” file is missing.

It only broke recently in ROOT 6.30 and master, and will be fixed again in both branches.
