Slow loading of Root with win2k

Hello everyone,

I have been using version 4.00/08, compiled for win32 for a while and it was loading quickly and smoothly (less than 5 seconds).
Since yesterday, it takes something like 20-25 seconds to load, although I have made no changes on my win2k installation and have not added any script to be executed at loading time.

Any idea ?

Hi Marc,

I don’t see any problem… :confused:
ROOT 4.01/03 Win32gdk takes between 2 and 3 seconds
to start on my laptop (celeron 750 MHz 128Mb WinXP SP2).

I have reinstalled it again. Everything is fine now. Probably some Billy related thing…
