Shared libraries with snap or pre-compiled binary

Hello,
I am currently using Kubuntu and have a problem, when using shared libraries with snap or pre-compiled binary with an old code I get the following error:
"error while loading shared libraries: libCore.so.6.26: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory".
This problem is only present with these two, I managed to run the code without problems using the building from the source version.
So, is there a way to import the libraries using the pre-compiled binary or snap?

I am sorry the Snap installation did not work out of the box for you.

We are extremely grateful to the contributors providing the Snap distribution, but do not maintain it. I would not know what to suggest here, but the error seems to point out to a faulty setup of your environment - have you tried to clean all snap installations and start from scratch?
