Saving primitive data types in TFile

Is there any simple way to save primitive data types directly into ROOT TFiles? I sometimes need it to save calculation results in addition to ROOT objects. What I do at the moment is to use a single-entry TTree.

I think you have TParameter https://root.cern.ch/doc/master/classTParameter.html, I hope it helps.
