Running root on mac os x terminal

I just downloaded root v6.00 on mac os x 10.12 but I am having diffculties running root in terminal. I had xcode previously installed.

Pls can i get a walk through here.

Hi,

what is exactly the issue? I would suggest you install ROOT 6.10/00 (https://root.cern.ch/content/release-61000) rather than v6.00 which is very old.
