Rootcint not found after root6 installation with macports

Hello,

I installed Root6 via Macports on Max OSX High Sierra (10.13), concretely

sudo port install root6 +pythia +vc +veccore

It works fine standalone, but when I try to link it, e.g. for installing the Delphes3 detector simulation, I get

Generating tmp/classes/ClassesDict.cc
make: rootcint: No such file or directory
make: *** [tmp/classes/ClassesDict.cc] Error 1

My default C/C++ complier is clang-902.0.39.2 .
Does somebody know the problem and help me sort it out?

ROOT Version: 6.14/02
Platform: macos 10.13.6
Compiler: clang-902.0.39.2

Hi,

we are not distributing ROOT via macports. Does a local installation from binaries or sources exhibit the same behaviour?
