ROOT6 Rendering on Fedora22

After working with ROOT for a few days, I’m hoping for tips to improve rendering of fonts and images in canvases and in the root-gui. What I’ve got out of the box is disappointing.

Try ‘.help’, ‘.demo’, ‘.license’, ‘.credits’, ‘.quit’/’.q’

Are there switches for Xwindows, e.g.?

Edit your “${ROOTSYS}/etc/system.rootrc” file and modify the line “X11.UseXft: yes”.
