How to install ROOT in conda environment with R interface ?

Hi,
I don’t think the condo builds of ROOT include conda. In this case if you want to have ROOT with R support you need to build it from source.
@eguiraud might know more if ROOT conda builds include the R interface.

I confirm that the ROOT conda package does not have the R bindings compiled in, so you will likely need a different package or a build from source.

Would it be possible to include it in conda build of ROOT ?
R is part of conda repo and can be installed from conda.

the conda package is not maintained by the ROOT team, you can ask about R support at GitHub - conda-forge/root-feedstock: A conda-smithy repository for root. .
