ROOT installation with asimage

I’m trying to build ROOT directly from the source but the machine with CentOS7 does not have asimage related packages installed. I don’t have root privilege. Is it possible to locally build asimage related package from the source?

does -Dbuiltin_afterimage=ON help? Otherwise we need @bellenot .
